Lensbaby entrusted me with the design and production of their first comprehensive product catalog. It was part catalog, part guide and part showcase for the talented photographers who use Lensbaby products. My goal was a clean minimal design that would let the distinctive photos speak for themselves.
Most projects at Xerox closely follow brand guidelines. Quarterly promotional materials like this notebook are the exception. My colorful, updated take on vintage boxing posters was well-received as a fun support piece for our partners in the field. Clever writing by my colleague, Richard Krauss, brought the piece alive.
This multi-chapter document contained technical data and many tables. White space and generous use of photos helped with story-telling and made it easier to digest. Pulling out accents like quotes and factoids also made it more accessible.
